Play Therapy

Children are often referred for Play Therapy by their parents, the school or another professional when they are experiencing difficulties at home, in school or in the community. Because children do not have the same cognitive and verbal abilities as adults, Play Therapy provides an alternative to traditional 'talk therapy'. Allowing an opportunity for expression, children are able to work through problems utilizing the natural medium of play.

Play Therapy can also be tailored to fit a child's specific developmental needs.
